The past few weeks have been busy for the Kisi team! We have made some major changes to our Kisi web-app both in terms of looks and functionality. Over the past year, we have heard from our clients, the good and the bad of the old web-app. We gathered the feedback and went to work building a web-app with a better user interface and experience. Here are the top four features you will want to know about!
1. New look and feel
The general look and feel of the Kisi web-app has been swapped out for something sleeker. You can also navigate everywhere within the web-app right from your Dashboard view.
2. Navigational bar placement change
You can toggle between your groups, members, and other features via the navigational bar, now located on the top of the page. From the Settings tab, you can find other functions such as Events, Heatmap, Integrations, and your Place details.
3. Add users to either a Group or a Place
The previous web-app allowed admins to add users to individual doors. With the new web-app, a new user must be assigned to a group or Entire Place before access can be shared with them. This helps in the organization of members and prevents the same member from being shared multiple keys. You can learn how you can create a group and add members here.
4. Now supporting keycards – Kisi Passes!
With the launch of the Pro Readers, the Kisi web-app now also reflects keycard usage for clients who are using the readers. To learn more about how to get a Kisi Pro Reader that allows for unlocks via Kisi Passes, check out our shop. To see how to setup a Reader and issue Kisi Passes, see here.
