This segment highlights features on Kisi that we think are valuable and useful and how you can use them to optimize your Kisi system as well.
Creating groups for your Kisi database can be very helpful in organizing members. Here are some best practices on Groups.
Create groups based off doors. Certain groups can have access to certain doors. For example, an IT closet door might be out of bounds for some users. You can create a standalone group and add those people who have access to that door into the group.
Create group based off companies in your coworking space. If you run a coworking space and have many companies, it will be helpful to organize your Kisi database by creating individual groups for each company. This way, it will be easy to add users and search for activities if needed.
Create groups for visitors. If you have groups of guests that come in at different times, you can set time restrictions on the group and add guests to this group accordingly. When the guests are done in the space, simply delete the entire group to revoke their access.
If you have a unique or creative way to utilize groups and want to share it with other Kisi Admins, post in our Community Forum! Your expertise may help other users in the future.
